The beginning of February completes the list of financing contracts within the North-West Regional Program 2021-2027 with a first contract signed for Priority 3 \u2013 A region with environmentally friendly localities. The city of Beclean will implement a project worth almost 5 million euros for the Establishment and Development of the Botanical Park "Gr\u0103dina Urban\u0103 Transilvania".<\/p>\n

The project involves the development of a botanical park with an area of 49 hectares, surrounded by a bicycle path, an educational space that will include a nursery-kindergarten, a robotics cluster and modern study laboratories.<\/p>\n

Thus, the well-known B\u0103i Figa will be part of a complementary project through the construction of the Transilvania Urban Garden, and the residents of our region will benefit from an ideal green space for spending free time.<\/p>\n

The project was also presented in Brussels during the European Week of Regions and Cities, and its visionary concept opens up new opportunities for local development and can represent a model of good practice at European level for the policy objective - A greener Europe.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

The North-West Regional Program 2021-2027 proposes interventions for the development of research, development, innovation and digitization capacity, increasing the energy performance of the existing public and residential building fund, capitalizing on degraded spaces at the city level, sustainable urban mobility, investments in the network of county roads and in the educational infrastructure, as well as actions to capitalize on the cultural, touristic and spa potential.<\/p>\n

In the financial year 2021-2027, public authorities and institutions, the business environment, the academic and research environment and NGOs can obtain funding.<\/p>\n

The Northwest Regional Program benefits from a total allocation of 1,437,252,471 euros.<\/p>\n
