The North-West Regional Development Agency, as the Managing Authority for the North-West Regional Program 2021-2027 (REGIO North-West), publishes today, August 2, 2023, the Applicant's Guide for the call for projects 522.B \u2013 <\/strong>Equipment for increasing traffic safety.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The call for projects is competitive, with a submission deadline<\/strong>, and funding applications can be submitted through the MySMIS 2021\/2021+ computer system during: August 31, 2023, 10:00 a.m. \u2013 February 29, 2024, 10:00 a.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n

A. Mandatory Eligible Activities<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. The purchase and installation of equipment intended to improve traffic safety within the county road network, in accordance with the National Road Safety Strategy 2021-2030, including construction works required exclusively for the installation of equipment intended to improve traffic safety in the area of the county road network;<\/em><\/li>\n
  2. The purchase and installation of equipment for the prevention of incidents\/accidents caused by wildlife, on the secondary road network of county roads, including construction works required exclusively for the installation of the equipment;<\/em><\/li>\n
  3. Appropriate lighting of properly marked and signalized non-traffic crossings, with intelligent led lighting systems with asymmetric light to create a strong contrast between the pedestrian crossing and the road surface;<\/em><\/li>\n
  4. The purchase of other equipment intended to improve traffic safety (including multi-functional machines equipped with a snow plow, snow blower, salt\/sand spreader or brush, expensive, branch cutting equipment, traffic sign washing equipment, etc.) justified on the basis of the recommendations resulting in following the periodic\/specific road safety inspection, including construction work required exclusively for the installation of equipment.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div><\/div>

    The North-West Regional Program 2021-2027 proposes interventions for the development of research, development, innovation and digitization capacity, increasing the energy performance of the existing public and residential building fund, capitalizing on degraded spaces at the city level, sustainable urban mobility, investments in the network of county roads and in the educational infrastructure, as well as actions to capitalize on the cultural, touristic and spa potential.<\/p>\n

    In the financial year 2021-2027, public authorities and institutions, the business environment, the academic and research environment and NGOs can obtain funding.<\/p>\n

    The Northwest Regional Program benefits from a total allocation of 1,437,252,471 euros.<\/p>\n
